2. What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how Boris Tang AB and its brands, products, websites, and services process personal data.

This policy applies to personal data processing carried out in connection with SOLYNTO and other websites, products, and services operated by Boris Tang AB, unless a separate privacy notice is provided for a specific service.

Where a separate privacy notice or contractual arrangement applies to a particular service, that notice or arrangement may provide additional information about how personal data is processed.

Depending on the service and context, SOLYNTO may process the following categories of information:

SOLYNTO does not intentionally collect user-provided sensitive personal data for personalised advertising.

4. How we use personal data

SOLYNTO may process personal data for the following purposes:

  • storing or accessing information on a device where permitted;
  • selecting advertising using limited data, including for frequency capping and advertising sequence management;
  • where the required consent has been obtained, creating advertising profiles for personalised advertising;
  • where the required consent has been obtained, using advertising profiles to select personalised advertising;
  • measuring advertising performance;
  • maintaining security, preventing fraud, detecting errors, and maintaining the technical operation of our services; and
  • receiving, processing, communicating, and applying privacy and consent choices.

5. Legal bases

Where required by applicable law, SOLYNTO relies on consent for processing activities that require consent, including the use of device storage and access, personalised advertising activities, and relevant advertising measurement.

SOLYNTO may rely on legitimate interests for activities necessary to maintain security and prevent fraud, technically deliver advertising, and receive, process, communicate, and apply privacy choices, where permitted by applicable law.

6. Cookies and device storage

SOLYNTO may use cookies or other device storage technologies in connection with its programmatic advertising services, including for purposes such as frequency capping, advertising delivery, consent and privacy signals, and other permitted advertising functions.

The use and retention period of device storage may vary depending on its purpose and configuration. Where applicable, information about device storage used by SOLYNTO is provided through the relevant Transparency & Consent Framework disclosures.

7. IAB Europe Transparency & Consent Framework

SOLYNTO is a registered vendor in the IAB Europe Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF) and complies with the applicable TCF Policies and Specifications.

Where TCF signals are used, SOLYNTO processes and respects the applicable consent, legitimate interest, and privacy choice signals provided through participating Consent Management Platforms (CMPs) and advertising technology partners.

SOLYNTO's TCF declarations describe the purposes, legal bases, features, special features, and data categories relevant to its processing activities.

8. Sharing of personal data

Depending on the service and transaction, SOLYNTO may disclose relevant information to publishers, supply-side platforms, advertising exchanges, advertisers and agencies, measurement and fraud-prevention providers, hosting and infrastructure providers, and other service providers involved in delivering the relevant service.

Information is shared only where permitted by applicable law and where necessary for the relevant service or purpose. SOLYNTO does not sell personal data.

9. International transfers

SOLYNTO currently processes personal data within the European Economic Area (EEA).

If personal data is transferred outside the EEA in the future, SOLYNTO will apply appropriate safeguards required by applicable data protection law, such as an adequacy decision, EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or another legally recognised transfer mechanism.

10. Data retention

SOLYNTO retains personal data only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose, taking into account applicable legal, contractual, and operational requirements.

11. Security

SOLYNTO implements appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

12. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to object to certain processing activities.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Swedish supervisory authority, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY).

13. Legitimate Interest Claim

SOLYNTO relies on legitimate interests for certain processing activities where permitted by applicable law. SOLYNTO considers these interests against the rights and reasonable expectations of individuals and applies appropriate safeguards.

Security and fraud prevention. SOLYNTO has a legitimate interest in protecting its services and advertising ecosystem, detecting invalid or fraudulent activity, identifying falsified events or measurements, preventing misuse, and maintaining the security and operability of its systems.

Technical delivery of advertising. SOLYNTO has a legitimate interest in receiving and responding to advertising requests and delivering advertising content in a technically compatible manner. This may involve information automatically transmitted by a device or connection, such as IP address, user-agent information, language, or connection characteristics.

Privacy and consent choices. SOLYNTO has a legitimate interest in receiving, processing, communicating, and respecting privacy choices and consent signals, including TCF signals, so that applicable transparency and privacy requirements can be implemented correctly.

Where applicable law requires consent, SOLYNTO does not use legitimate interest to override that requirement.

14. Children's data

SOLYNTO's services are not intentionally directed at children. SOLYNTO does not knowingly create personalised advertising profiles for children.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services, processing activities, or applicable legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was most recently revised.
